Please Please Help Me
I have been all over the help files and searched through the forum and I have gone around in circles for hours now.
Basically all I want to do is get output from Cubsae SX, I have input showing on the graphic EQ. When running the speaker test I am getting short chainsaw sounds and distorted sounds from windows actions. Any help would be much appreciated I am running SB LIVE WINDOWS XP PRO |

Well, you haven't gotten any replies, so I'll see what I can do, though kX stuff isn't my area of expertise. Are the distorted sounds only the ones from windows actions?

I have mannaged to rid the distorted sounds but I have been un-succesful in getting output through cubase SX. I think I am just getting confused but I am getting input sound as its lighting up so im half way there.

ok, I think this is encouraging, Cubase is recognising sound in and sound out but I am getting nothing through the speakers. This is when I select direct monitoring when I turn this off I get nothing, all help would be so appreciated and I feel this may help a lot of people as similar things keep popping up

Sorry, wish I could help you, but I really don't know enough about Cubase to be able to help. Hopefully someone with some more knowledge in this area will notice this
