problem with driver

OK i tried theses because the CL drivers don't work at all for me i have a sb0090 and and via chipset k8m800 and windows vista. the drivers install fine but when i reboot i cant use the mixer because it says " Error initilizing sound card". After i reinstall the drivers i stall have same problem. All the sound works but when i go in control panel to sound i find there are no recording devices only one playback device and it says it a kx 10k2 audio - model sbxxxx - working. Like i said it sound great but i have no advance controls like bass and digital output. Any help would be great i would love to actually use this card again. Thanks

It sounds like you are using an older version of the driver. Initial Vista support was not added until 3538m, so make sure you are using kX version 3538m or later.

Read the kX FAQ, Getting Started Guide, Help, KB, tutorials, etc.
Bass (etc) is done in the DSP in kX (i.e. timbre plugin, or 10BandEQ plugin, with the default DSP config).

Read the bug reports thread for whatever version of kX you are using, so that you are aware of any known issues that might exist in that version, etc.
