Creative's Rise against modded drivers

Not directly KX-related, but it's interesting what's going on there on the Creative forum website.

Daniel_K provided modded drivers for various creative cards (i never heard of Daniel_K or the modded drivers before today), providing more stable operation and revealing features under VISTA for older and newer cards that are not featured in Creatives official driver releases.

Creative has posted a message to the developer in the forum (see link below), which has caused a storm of replies and parallel threads, as well as pickups on various computer related online news. After deleting all links from the forum to the modded driver sets, Creative has already re-enabled those links shorty afterwards due to the massive protest of the community.

Let's see what Creative will respond after that weekend, or if they just shut down the thread. But in my opinion, it's too late for that.
