GamePort on Vista x86-32 for CT4760
Hi guys,

I have a SB Live! CT4760 ( Very Old from 1999 ).

I was able to put it to work using the KX drivers ( Audio Perfect!!! , BTW... Congrats!!! )

Now, the GamePort Joystick I was not able to install, I have tryed everything and nothing... Someone can help me out?

I have a Microsoft Force Feedback Joystick that I donīt want to throw it away thru my window just because Vista didn't recognizes it.

It seems that MS removed gameport support in Vista in favor of USB connected devices:
PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING A QUESTION: Hardware & Drivers FAQ - 5600 - TechNet Forums

However, there are some workarounds in the Creative Labs forum that you can try if you like:
Gameport support pack for Vista 32-bit (x86), updated on 02/01/2008 - Windows Vista - Creative Labs

The file/info from the above thread is reported to work with kX (for use with a joystick anyway, not sure about MIDI input).

Note that it is approx. 2.17 MB
Make sure that you follow the instructions from that thread, and let us know if it works for you with kX, etc.

Email Received! Thanks for the Help...

Yes, the File have worked as described, KX Audio Driver working perfect in conjunction with Joystick .

Tested for 30 minutes on Flight Simulator X ( The ForceFeedBack is not working, but is better than donīt use the joystick ) I was tired to use the Mouse as Yoke on the FS X.

No problem at all... I work on Technical Support Staff as Senior Analyst, so, I know the need for the reply if the problem persist or if you suceed can close the issue..

For my luck, we have closed this issue.
