sburst is on a distinguished road

how many tracks can simultaneously record

Hello
Just one question please, with the kx drivers, how many analog tracks can one simultaneously record on Audigy platinium (with card and External 'break out box') or Audigy 2 ZS platinium (with card and External 'break out box') or Audigy 2 platinium (with card and External 'break out box').

I use a soundblaster live 5.1 (model sb0060) since 4 or 5 years with kx drivers, but now i try buy a Audigy card for multirack record (at least 4 tracks).

Thanks

Audigy 1 SB0090 gives you up to 14 independent input sources on the card, Audigy 2 full series (not Value) gives you up to 12 independent input sources. I donīt know whether the breakout box supports all physical available inputs - I īve had so solder one for myself ;-)

Hey TravelRec... the OP specified ANALOG....

An A2ZS Platinum (w/ breakout box) I can record:
AC97 1/2 (Line and Aux/CD) - thats 4 mono / 2 stereo ANALOG.

Then the LiveDriveII (breakout box) has AUX2 and Line 2 - thats 4 more mono / 2 stereo.

Then I have Digital inputs...
the LDII Coax/Optical - thats 2 more mono
The on-card Digital CD in - another 2 mono.

I have Audigy 2ZS here with some selfmade modules, so:

Line in: 2x mono
AUX in over UDA codec: 2x mono
SPIDF over CD-SPDIF: 2x mono
SPDIF over OPTICAL: 2x mono
A/D-module to I2S codec (Line2): 2 mono
A/D-Module to I2S codec (Aux2): 2 mono

Summary: Same number as you

On Audigy1 you have one more SPIDF input on AUD_EXT connector.
