SPDIF freq selection
Hi there.
The SPDIF I/O does not work in my Audigy2: I use two cards (an Audigy and an Audigy2) and I can´t interconect them with the SPDIF connectors. The conection is right but there is no sound. Also, when trying to change the SPDIF freq on the Audigy2, the sound goes out, and I need to restart windows to restore it. Here are some results form kxctrl (for the Audigy2): Quote:

confirmed. will be fixed in 3532 rc2 however, when 48000 frequency is selected, spdif i/o should be fully functional /Eugene |

Well, you are true, but if we change the freq selection list, the sound is lost.
Sometimes I can change the frecuency (and then the sound goes off) and sometimes I can't do that (an error message appears and the frecuency doesn't change). And 'seems' to be any kind of "inicialitation" or "incomaptibilty" between the the four controls of the SPDIF feature in the principal mixer window, bucause yesterday I was able to chage the frecuencies, but not now. Or maybe simply the error you has just detected... |

pls download and install the 3532 rc2 (see the 3532 rc1 thread 3532 release candidate 1 :))
it should fix 'spdif freq selection' problem note that the spdif inputs/outputs can be out of sync after you change the frequency (48000<->96000) in this case I recommend you unplug and re-plug the spdif connector the hardware may sync automatically within 1-2 seconds /Eugene |
