SB live 5.1 and Vista ultimate
HEllo...
I would like to have sound 5.1 on Windows Vista using kx drivers but when I installing this I got some problems. I have sound only in two speakers. During instalation I gor errors: e.g. about game port etc. After instalation I may choose (in control panel) 5.1 speaker but it doesn't work. Is any way to do 5.1 sound in Windows Vista and SB live 5.1 ??

i did it like this

deleted all old sound drivers on vista include the vista drivers

reboot computer and when vista asks to install its drivers klick abort after that i installed the k driver and reboot again

on my system it works fine after that

and sound 5.1 works ? Did you have any errors during instalation ?
After reboot Vista didn't ask me about installation, it AUTOMATICALLY do it.

i had no problems aber installing the driver and rebooting

game port doesn`t work with vista only with xp

with game port will not work higher then xp because bill gates deleted this option after xp
