SPDIF to SPDIF CT4670 to CT4832

Greetings,

Can I use internal SPDIF these cards so that I can mix the output of one with the other. If this is possible, can someone tell me which pins connect to which.

Here are the pins on the 4670 SPDIF

Pin01 SPDIF 0-Out 0
Pin02 GND
Pin03 Key
Pin04 VCC (power)
Pin05 GND
Pin06 SPDIF in
Pin07 No connection
Pin08 No connection
Pin09 SPDIF 1-Out 1
Pin10 GND
Pin11 SPDIF 2-Out 2
Pin12 SPDIF 3-Out 3

Well in the middle of asking this question I just found this

So I know how to connect the 2 SPDIFs together. Now the question is-what does this get me?

My hope is that I can connect the SPDIF out of the CT4670 to the SPDIF of the CT4832 and the sound coming out of the Front or Rear Speaker out of the CT4832 will be the combined audio signal from both.

Is this correct or am I completely misunderstanding SPDIF.

Okay,

Somebody help me out here. I am using the KX drivers with Power Tracks. On Track 1, (vocal), I have chosen the 4830 out and Track 2 (acoustic guitar) I have chosen the

I have the 2 cards connected CT4670 SPDIF out to CT4830 SPDIF in.

I can hear both cards through the 4830 rear speaker out but the track that is using the 4670 (guitar) is pretty weak and sounds like it is washed in reverb and chorus.

Is there a way that I can tweak this signal to bring it up and make it dry, without effects?

P.S. I turned 50 this year so I probably have something less than 50 years to figure this out.

Continuing this conversation with myself,

I just discovered that the guitar signal, (track 2), is only heard if I use a DX effect with it. It was sounding reverby because I had Anwida Soft DX Reverb lite enabled on AUX bus 1. If I bypass the effect, track 2 goes silent. I switched to "Dynamics", a built in Power Tracks DX effect and I can get the guitar back to a dry signal that sounds like a guitar, but it isn't a great workaround.

Any other ideas out there?
