Audigy 4 works with 3538m, but is only partially supported. WaveHQ does not work and there is no bit accurate playback. You will probably need nonstandard configuration, search forum for words SB0610 or SB0400.

Does KX driver support BASS for SB Audigy 4?
There recently has been a big problem with my SB audigy 4 [SB0040].
All the audio effect options on EAX console are lost.
I have no idea how to work it out.
I think I will try a clean installation of my SB Audigy 4 driver, but you know
it takes up quite a lot of HDD space and system resources.
So, I wanna try something new. Do you think I should try the KX driver?

AFAIK, the driver only partially supports SB Audigy 4 up to this moment.
Do you have any idea where I can find the full support version.
I really don't like the original driver that came with my SB soundcard,
the driverjust makes a heavy burden on my PC's system resources.

How many soundcards do you have on your PC, jedi25?
On the FAQ page, I saw that KX user has to uninstall all the drivers which came with the soundcard before installing the kx driver.
So, if the kx driver only supports a few types of sound cards, should I still try to install it?
I curently have three sound cards on my PC: USB 5.1 converter soundcard, 2.1 onBoard soundcard, and the SB audidy 4.
Do you see what I am concerned about, jedi25?

Frankly speaking, I am totally sick of the original driver for my SB audigy 4 soundcard, which is huge in file size and it always takes ages for me to load the EAX console.
I wanna uninstall it, but just couldn't act brave doing that when thinking of the consequence that my PC may end up with having system courrpted.

You probably do not have to uninstall your other drivers. It is more of an issue if you are trying to run the Creative driver for one card and kX for another card.

BTW: kX does not support EAX.

I have disable my onboard sound card - realtek and only the SB0610 is being used.

Un install all creative drivers, use "driver cleaner pro" to clean registery before installing KX drivers..

BTW, I believe this sound is only partially suuported at this time..but it seems to be the same as the sb0400.
