I need answers to SB-live with kx

hI,

some questions:

-How many inputs do i have to record simultaneously with a Live 5.1 and without this livedrive ? Just one ?

-can i cascade some sb live cards without livedrive to have more inputs ? How do i have to do that ? For example: 4 SB live = 8 input channels ?

-Can i play my VST-instruments per midi with my Keyboard live without delaying ?

hope someone can answer !

thanx

1. as many as the soundcard has (i think)

2. yes, you can have more than 1 card in at a time.

3. you will get a latency of 2-20ms. i personally get 5-10ms which is quite good.

1. You'll get 2 mono analog inputs (through AC97 codec - line in or aux in or others); 2 - Yes you cascade them digitally using pins availabe in the header which was intended to be used with the live drive; 3. You can go as low as 2.66ms latency as trance has answered you...
