Mixers for 1 of 2 soundcards incomplete

Greeetings,

I am using version 3531. I have 2 sound cards installed-SBLive CT4670 and CT4831. The mixer for the CT4831 is not displaying sliders for RECORDING and INs/OUTs. I had the same trouble with the last version and fixed it by chance, I couldn't explain how I did it last time because I think I randomly deleted drivers and reinstalled, repeated, jumped up and down until it worked.

Can anyone suggest a more systematic approach to getting both mixers to display all their sliders.

Both sound cards are working fine and not sharing IRQs with other devices, by the way.

Well I finally right clicked on the mixer and chose;

Settings->Reset Settings

and the missing sliders appeared on the 2nd sound card mixer. Hopefully I will remember this next time.
