Sound stops working.
When I first boot up my sound works fine, ill run some apps like reason, mabey cubase then out of no where the sound will stop working, Ill get some weird sounding bleep sounds every once in a while if i try using an application that access my sound, sometimes the sound will go back on and work for a little while then shut off again. can anyone help?

maybe give us some specs! have you updated drivers? switched pci slots...etc

I have an SBLive 5.1 card model SB0060 running windows xp pro , with kx drivers 5.10.0.3531. I tried switching pci slots and im having the same problem.

I have 512mb of RDRAM, I have a P4 processor on an Asus P4T motherboard, SBlive Platinum 5.1 SB0060 with Live Drive IR, its in PCI Slor 3 (PCI bus 2, device 9, function 0), I/O Range D400-D41F, IRQ 10. Please tell me specificly what other info you might need from me to help figure out this problem. Thanks

pls review the thread No sound or continuous beep w or w/o original sound on top on EMU APS
it seems that the bug is not E-mu APS - related... we are currently working on this issue /Eugene |
