Reverse sound

Hello!

Im a month into Kx drivers for my Audigy 2 (just audigy2) card, i'we noticed that sounds are reversed for some reason.

I haven't gone into great detail with the drivers, just barely adjusted microphone inputs for voip and stuff, i got rid of the cracking sound my games were making.

Im now good with the fact that the audio in my games will remain a bit distorted or otherwise broken, but KX fixed the bsods i were getting while playing eve-online (caused by creative drivers)

So i was wondering, i'we tried all ports in my soundcard (if someone has a pic of a audigy 2 backpanel and the explanation for the ports that would be great) but still reverse sound. Tinkered around with all i can think of at this point, so if anyone has a suggestion please suggest

You'll find the Audigy User's Guide for your card from - http://us.creative.com/support/downl...p?type=manuals

If you mean reversed L and R then, can't you cross connect it in kX panel?

When I had A2 in use (w/ original drivers), channels were reported being inverted, in some testing software, till I installed the latest driver update (meaning v. 5.12.1.1196-2.09.00.0016). If you get this same inversion w/ kX drivers, then it's maybe the HW which has this issue ... maybe it needs some additional function/functionality being added into drivers to get this rounded.

How would i go about cross-connecting them? I have to add im at work now and have no access to my computer for 4 hours or so...

I can post screenshots of kx panel if anyone has any further suggestions to better other stuff aswell based on what my speaker setups and such are.

System Specs

if you mean that front and rear are swapped, this is normal
you can turn this feature off by disabling the "Swap front/rear" option on the man kX mixer page

What is reversed?
Is it Left/Right or Front/Rear?

kX swaps analog Front/Rear by default. There is a button on the Main page of kxmixer to enable/disable this option.

As for Left/Right (or non-typical setups), find the epilog plugin in the DSP window. Hold the mouse cursor over any pin, and a tooltip will show the name of that pin. When you see any that you would like to change. take note of how they are currently connected, and then disconnect/reconnect them however you desire. It is fairly self explanatory once you see the names of the pins, and are able to understand the default routing.

BTW: Hold down the ALT key when making the connections in the DSP, otherwise it tries to connect all the pins (in order) between the two plugins (which you would not want here).

W/ original CT drivers (all the same which mode (ASIO, MME, DirectSound) was used), swapping L/R ports (in test software input selection) didn't fixed this inversion for me. Only the latest driver update fixed it.

Let's hope kX handles this differently.
