Thumbs Up! Routing Signal from One Soundcard to another without cable?

Hello!

If have installed two soundblaster Live with the KxDrivers. Is it possible to Route one Output of Soundblaster one to an input of Soundblaster 2 without a cable?
The reason is, i need more than 2 analog outputs and with Foobar i can output the signal only to one of the two cards.

Thank you all very much for this great piece of Software and your great support!

You need the S/PDIF cable to keep the 2 cards in sync. If you look at your 2 cards as HOST and CLIENT, you can tell foobar to output to the CLIENT card. Then, using a DSP that you create you route the output of the

CLIENT card to an SPDIF output -> HOST SPDIF input

You can then route that to the analog front out of the HOST card and route your other application to the analog rear of the HOST card.

Is this what you are trying to accomplish?

Hello!

Thanks a lot for your answers!
@doug:

Year thats exactly what i asked about. I will try it that way. I thought theire might be a solution without cables and Maddog might have found one. I will try both and tell you the results.

@MAddog
Thanks a lot. I will try this solution and post here.

Best wishes,

Carsten
