Five years of kX!

Ah, finally, almost forgot. This is five years of kX Project being (first public version of the driver on 1st January of 2002). (interesting, how many of us remember kX is so old? i think i was planning to have some 'celebration statement' for this. But then decided i'm not a right person to do that. )

One of the greatest discoveries I have made on the Internet has been the kX drivers and this forum. I'm still using the same old Soundblaster Live 5.1 and I must have at least 20 different DSP set-ups for every imaginable situation, be it music or movies.

All my gratitude goes out to Eugene, Max, Lex and all those who have helped me and others figure out these complicated but amazing drivers and plug-ins.

All the best for the New Year

thank you, guys

I'm glad to have been with you for the last 5 years. for computer industry it's a very long period. although I very strongly hope noone expects kX to live forever , I'm very satisfied the driver is still in demand for live/audigy users.

unfortunatelly, I cannot promise any serious updates, except x64/vista, since I still can neither dedicate more time to kX, nor release it opensource.

anyway, I feel very grateful to kX, to our users and to all our contributors that were (and are) keeping the project running. this project played an important role in my life, not only by improving my skills and OS/driver understanding, but also by letting me get to know some true friends and my present employers

long lives kX! long lives computer and non-computer music! long lives everyone reading this!

E.

SPYRO is on a distinguished road

I still remember that famous Decemeber when the first KX version came out and we were waiting like thirsty dogs.

All I can say is THANKS!!! you rock kX team! I still use my old Audigy Platinum eX and has better ASIO performance than my professional interface.
