First of all thanks for what I think would have to be the most amazing third party driver ever! This driver is the only reason I didn't go out and buy a new (non-creative) card!

My (quite small) problem is that the kX mixer application keeps handles open to the driver which prevents a laptop from undocking (I have the card in a docking station). The solution to this would be to have the mixer application be a listener to ACPI events and to automatically release all handles when an undock request is made. Closing the kX mixer manually allows my laptop to undock fine (which is great as the creative drivers cause my laptop to blue screen).

Another semi-related issue is that it would be nice for the kX mixer to be able to run in an offline mode for when the hardware isn't available (eg when undocked). Currently if I boot undocked the kX mixer naturally doesn't start as it can't find the hardware. It would be nice if it could just run offline until the hardware is detected.

Considering this really isn't much of a problem or bug and I would imagine it would be a fair amount of work to implement all this I don't really expect it to be done. But I just thought I'd let it be known!
