KX,RRAMM Drum, SB5.1
RRAMM Drum is a stand alone sample player. I want to use it for drums. If I play a midi file in jammer with all channels going to the sb 5.1 live everything plays. If I then set jammer channel 10 to play the RRAMM Drums via MIDIYOKE NT it plays the drums but cuts off the audio on the the synth of the SB live. I'm using profex and 3538L.The synth is using FX Bus 2/3 and the RRAMM Drum FX Bus 0/1.
Any thoughts? Routing?

Does it cut off ALL KX Synth? or is it 'note stealing' ?
If so - try checking 'legacy Decay/Release' - in the KX Settings/Synth Compatibility. Otherwise - I would try using FX Buss 4/5 for RAMM Drum. (And use ASIO if your not already) Also - is RAMM Drum unloading Soundfonts for some strange reason?? (You can check by looking at the KX soundfont applet while this error is happeneing) And while your at it - look at the 'Analyzer' too - as it shows 'polyphony useage' and may clue you in about 'note stealing' - OR of it fills in a bunch of RED (reserved) HW voices available. In other words maybe RAMM drum is reserving too many HW voices and leaves not enough for KX Synth to use.. tho I never seen this happen before... ?? Thats all I can think of - as it seems like your routing is ok - but a pic of your DSP config may be more helpful for us to say for sure..?? p.s. - I looked for RAMM drum with no success. A link to that as well may help.. ?? |
