kx mixer for biamp

Hi I'm some what new to the high fi search for the perfect sound. I just started using kx mixer and it sounds unreal. Im using vintage marantz amps 1070, 1060, 1060b, 3300, 2252, 2238. Cant seem to stop buying them. My speakers are B&W 620, 600, 550 and several others. Whats the best way to set these up? Several have 4 way binding post. Do I need to biamp and can I use the kx mixer as an effective active cross over? what plugins and settings do I use with kx mixer
