3529 front to rear copy.

hi

i do not have 5.1 speaker system so i use my front output for my headphones and my rear output for my big speakers(2 speakers).
with version 3528 i had applied the following mod in my routing plugin:

acc3 RO_rear_l , RO_rear_l , 0x0, In0 ; patch: In0(LineInL) => Rear_L
acc3 RO_rear_r , RO_rear_r , 0x0, In1 ; patch: In1(LineInR) => Rear_R

this copies front output to rear. i use this when i turn on my tuner card so i can hear the tv on the big speakers, but with version 3529 this mod is not working. please help.

I don't watch much TV at all, so when I want to (yes I have a tuner, look at sig ) watch TV I just switch from back speaker jack to the front speaker jack.
Works like a charm.

i want permanent solution.
my opinion is that the front 'line in' should be copied to rear by default. because when i listen music with winamp3 i hear it on all speakers. the idea is the same - stereo sound (2 channels), but copied to rear too. isn't it? with the radio is the same. i want it on 4 speakers. my front speakres are connected to my headphones. my rear to my speakers (stereo only but no problem). i cannot understand why the above two lines does not work with 3259. it was working with 3258.

p.s. i think my tuner is the same. FlyVideo 98 with FM. called in germany FlyVideo II.

Well, that modification is correct. Don't understand why it doent works. But instead of modifying the routing plugin, wich seems to be the "heart" of the mixer, you can try to use use other plugins to cenect the AC97 inputs to the four speakers . I.e., you can use the 'Stereo Mix' plugin:

Inputs 1L-1R -> To the FX busses 1-2
Inputs 2L-2R -> To the epilog outputs 0-1
Outputs L-R -> To the routing inputs WaveL-WaveR

Also you have to tweak the Stereo Mix plugins and level up the two sliders.

Where is your TV audio out connect into the sblive? If it's connect to aux in (as an example) you should turn on the aux in (AC97 page of the mixer) and also the AC97 volume in KX mixer. You should have the prolog's two first channels connected to ROUTING inputs 0 and 1 and you should connect the 2 first outputs in ROUTING to both the rear and the front inputs (in EPILOG).

thanks for the answers.

to eyagos:
the above modification was recommended to me by the author. it was working with 3528. its not working with 3529. can you check it with your setup? i will try your suggestion if i have free registers

to Daniel Drummond:
my tvaudioout is connected to my linein. the volume is ok. your suggestion will disconnect my ac3 sound then right?
i like the above modification because it does not disconnect any other feature. like ac3 sound and etc.
it just adds In0 and In1 to RO_rear_r and RO_rear_l everything else is by default.
