I think that in order to get the sound you want in the different setups, games, music, guitar rig you need to get comfortable with the DSP. Then you can set up a different DSP for each situation. At the top of this GENERAL section, see

Once you learn to use the DSP you can add EQ, reverb, etc. where you need it and then save those setups.
Some people find it too much hassle to go through all this and decide to stay with the Creative drivers. You just have to decide how much time you are willing to put into it. I don't mess with the kX mixers at all when I am trying to change something, I just change the DSP to suit the situation which I find a lot simpler to do.
