Will next virsion KX have device10/11 for 7.1's last 2 channal?

Will next virsion KX have device10/11 for 7.1's last 2 channal?

KX untill 3538j we have 5 device 0/1 4/5 6/7 8/9 HQ for programe seperate control.

Under my understand now:

Device 0/1 can recieve 1-8 channal sound and will send them to 7.1's 8 speakers.

Device 4/5 can recieve 2 channal sound and output to front 2 speakers

Device 6/7 for rear 2 speakers

Device 8/9 for middle and sub-woofer

Device HQ which I do not often use. Is for 24/96? Is there any different with divice 0/1?

But I can not find a device for 7.1's last two channal.

Now I want an additional function like this.

I have an 5.1 speakers connected and open with my Audigy 2 ZS. I always use a headphone with speakers and mic on it for VOIP phone. I have been used to VOIP sound only comes out from headphone but not from the loudspeakers. so I must shutdown my 5.1 speakers' first two channal. And in the same time VoIP must interupte my music playing from loudspeaker.

So I want to use the last two channal of 7.1, but there is not interface between Software and the last two channals.

I want to know if there is any chance to add a more device interface to control the last two channal. or a method of map other interface like the device HQ to the last two channal without change the other 6 channals' usage.

Thanks for KX programmers' imagination. HaHa.

You would have to ask Eugene about that, but, aside from being able to be used as another stereo input, those channels are not missing, they are used for 3D sound, but I believe that they are only enabled (as far as FxBus goes) when you choose a 6.1/7.1 preset in Surrounder, otherwise you have to enable it manually using kX Console (shw 20 1).

You say that normally you have the VOIP sounds only in the headphones (with other sounds (i.e. game 3D sound) in the speakers)? As far as I know, that is not possible witih the Creative driver (without a second sound card, which is the best way to do it), so I am not sure how you were able to do that previously. If you want to do this with kX, then it is probably best to have your VOIP software use kX Wave 0/1, and disconnect FXBus(0/1) from xrouting and connect it directly to epilog (whichever connection you have your headphones attached to). Under this setup, your VOIP sounds, as well as normal stereo audio (Windows sounds, mp3's, etc) will be in your headphones, but your 3D game sounds will be in your speakers. There are many configuration possibilites that would do what you want (and do not forget that you can change the default Windows Sound device if you would like the Windows sounds redirected, and most music software allows you to do the same, so you should be able to route the different sounds, pretty much wherever you want).

Did you read this? - kX Project Status

I dont see a need for an additional wave device personally.

Wave HQ - is used for 24/96 - and parallels the 10KX2 DSP to avoid the SRC that is required for DSP processing. Thus why the 24/96 router allows disconnecting KX > outputs. And the P16V plug-in - is to FORCE DSP processing of Wave HQ generated signals.
This (how the P16V device parallels the 10K2 device) is illustrated in the KX help file.

Read them - then ask more specific questions, and more here will be helpfull.
