Trying to make a cheap sampler out of Kx cards

Hey guys...

I made this small vst module using synthedit and savihost.

The whole purpose of this project is:

- Get any kx card, stuff it in any PII or above, stuff it with RAM.
- Load it with soundfonts.
- Get any midi controller and set it to transmit any channel you want (single).
- Plug it to the midi in port. Define the controllers you'll want to use (later, later).

And you have a cheap but powerfull sampler, I hope that in the future not even a monitor, mouse or keyboard will be needed for playing and changing the patches.

If all goes well you'll be able to control the soundcard 16 internal channels with only one as midi input.

I just started making this yesterday, so don't expect much, I just barely started.

Anyway, I have some problems... There seems to be some latency, wich I don't know if it's related to my card (Audigy 2 running kx), to savihost or to synthedit.

Also, if I set no in/out midi devices and check "Pass through to output" in savihost, I get doubled notes (one seems not to suffer from latency problems, the other one comes a bit delayed).

If I want to try it and help me...

here you go:

Just 6 channels for now, due to GUI design room (or lack of it).
