Dull Sound / Cant' record via Line-In ?

Hello, (excuse my english? attempts)

I installed the 3538j Drivers on my 2ZS Card in a fresh XP SP2 Installation,
follwing 2 defects apears:

1.) When i start Windows the Sound is clear.
Later when i start the kxMixer Interface, it decrease (dull) the Sound rapidly and keep staying until to the next time i restart Windows.
The Equalizer is always turned off.

2.) I cannot record (with Messer / Harddisk Ogg) thru the Line-In Connectors.

Do anyone know a workaround?
