Final entry 3rd November 2012

I don’t know how humanity is faring outside of the Zone, but judging from some of the Zone newcomers not good. Sure, they don’t have to deal with the radiation or mutants, but I find those to be a minor annoyance when compared to the lack of faith and goodwill. I’d bet my life that I’m the only one around these parts that actually helps others. Well, I am exaggerating a bit – I met a few stalkers who were glad to lend me a hand when I needed it. And seeing how our youngsters are still suffering from black-outs I don’t know what draws them to come here in the first place.

For some reason I can’t help but appreciate the Zone though. It’s amazing how life adapted to the massive changes and I know I’m a better human (perhaps due to slight mutations) because of my experiences here. All in all I am proud of my life, or at least the parts I can remember!

P.S.: Where the hell are all the women?!
