Next up there are 4 clips to undo at the front of the case which you already exposed by taking off the faceplate. These are very easy to undo with your fingers or a flat headed screwdriver. You may also notice a holographic Microsoft sticker here which if damaged voids your warranty. You will have to break this seal to install the new case so make sure you want to take that step. There is a small amount of exposed circuitry that you will need to make sure you don't damage. This circuitry controls the wireless detection of the pad as well as the switch that turns on the console.

One thing to be aware of is that if you are not careful the 360 front and back will click back together. Meaning you will have to redo those steps again.
