NBA 2K9 PC Ships to Stores Without CD Keys, Gamers Unable to Install Game
According to a seven page thread on the 2K Sports forums, the company forgot something important when it shipped the PC version of NBA 2K9 (also, PS3, X360) to stores: there is no CD key to be found anywhere in the box.

or not.. why don't they just promote it and ask for people to make keygens?

Well, im one of those poor saps. No activation key to be found in the DVD case. Emailed support, nothing heard back yet. Called the number in the Manuel, got a voice mail of some guy.

Speaking of pirates, i hear the game was cracked and released today. I bet more people grab the sucker online tonight then they will buy it tomorrow.... sad.

UPDATE: Everything should be fine now. Thanxs to Steam, your able to activate your copy, only if you have the DVD. not sure how that worked but it does!
