Crysis Warhead performance in-depth
Roughly this time last year Crytek released the highly anticipated first-person shooter Crysis exclusively for the PC. Since then the game has been used as the prime benchmark for high-end graphics cards, with only a handful of them being able to conquer the title, delivering great frame rates using high quality settings.

Poorly done testing. Why would they test everything in DX10 when anyone with a "Mainstream" system would want every frame they could get out of the game...that requires DX9. Even the conclusion mentions the extra frames in DX9...duh, so show us!

Going by these numbers the very best single card solutions of today can just barely deliver a playable experience(steady 30+fps at 1920 w/o AA) at the target level Gamer settings, and with less you're getting FarCry 1.5? Makes me wonder if there's so much of a performance difference compared to Crysis. Perhaps the 4870X2 can jump up quite a bit with DX9, but I doubt the rest will.
