The
StargateTC 2 Website has the debut release of their Stargate-themed modification for Half-Life 2 (thanks
Ant and
Planet Half-Life), calling it a total conversion in the first use of that old school phrase we can recall in a while. Here's a bit on the project taken from
the FAQ: "SGTC2 will first get its inspiration from the SG1 show before the 9th season: the war against Goa'ulds remains the first modding topic of SGTC2, just like SGTC, the old HL 1 mod. Adding technologies, weapons and characters from Altantis or from the Ori war is not rejected a priori but, if this add is decided, it will be applied in future versions of SGTC2. "
