V1 Racing is on the lookout for the next big talent in motorsport, and are taking the novel approach of starting its search on a free to play PC game.
Headed up by motorsport veteran Jay Marshall – who has worked alongside many of the greatest names of the past few years including legends such as Mansell and Senna – the initiative uses the highly acclaimed PC sim Live for Speed to put to the test of the credentials of any Formula 1 hopefuls. Taking to the wheel of a Formula BMW car, competitors take part in a number of race and qualifying sessions that are due to run alongside the remainder of this year's Grand Prix calendar, with the virtual events book-ending the real world race and qualifying sessions.
