I'm just going to tell you straight up: Previewing a massively multiplayer online role-playing game is one of the most difficult things to do in this business. At best, a typical 20-to-30 minute demonstration or hands-on session ultimately translates into experiencing what could be described as "a part of a fraction of a game that's designed to be played for years and years." I mean, describing some quests and combat is tantamount to stating, "So, I've only read about 12 pages of
Lord of the Rings, and, well, there was a lot of camping and complaining."
