Race Driver GRID Demo

A playable demo for Race Driver GRID is now available, offering a test drive of the PC edition of the next installment in the Race Driver series of motorsports simulations. Word is: "The demo offers 3 events to compete in. The eBay Motors Muscle Cup sees you taking the wheel of a Ford Mustang GT-R and the streets of San Francisco, the Advan International Trophy hands you a Nissan S15 Silvia and your playground is Yokohama Docks, and the Euro Touring Car Series provides some old-school tin-top thrills with a BMW 320si touring car and the sweeping curves and hairpins of Jarama." The 894 MB download can be found on AtomicGamer, ComputerGames.ro, eXp Download, Gamer's Hell, and FileShack.

Nachbrenner will become famous soon enough
System Specs

Interesting: in game's system folder you find a octo-core setup, but no triple-core setup (which you would expect for the new cheap Phenoms).

Unfortunately it's unplayable for me because of heavy graphical bugs

I would appreciate it more if you were warned about securom crap before trying to play the game (yes the DEMO) and the game asking you to reboot because of it.

Haven't rebooted yet, but I am willing to risk saying it is going to be a fun game.

I think if I was a racing fan then this would be the greatest racing game in years...but I'm not

Even without fancy EAX effects (my Audigy fried itself) the sounds were incredible and the graphics are beyond any other racing game (even Dirt). Throw in the rewind feature and the great physics you've got a top notch racing sim.
