Far Cry 2 Confirmed for Fall 2008 Release

Far Cry 2 (PC, PS3, X360) is now scheduled for release in the fall of this year, Ubisoft revealed in a production video released today. The title had previously been slated for a vague fiscal year 2008-2009 release.

Made without the involvement of series creator Crytek, which sold the Far Cry rights to Ubisoft in 2006. Crytek moved on to Crysis (PC) and other projects while Ubisoft Montreal was tasked with Far Cry 2.

Knowing Crytek, I think its a good idea that they sold it to Ubisoft.

If Crytek would release Far Cry 2, I imagine that this is what the game manual would be like:
