Mass Effect banned in Singapore
Source: Gamesindustry
______________
The Media Development Authority of Singapore has decided to prevent Microsoft's forthcoming Xbox 360 title, Mass Effect, from being released in the country.
According to a report in the nation's broadsheet, The Straits Times, the decision has been taken due to the inclusion in the game of a "sex scene between a human woman and a female alien."

The goverment of Singapore knows what it is best for its people. It owns them.
I can imagine what would happen if during the said sex scene one of the females was chewing a gum. They could perhaps send "cleaners" to Microsoft.

How many games out there have sex scenes in them from a well known company? There are the GTA games but that's all that I know of. Also, wouldn't that mean this game will be rated AO or are they taking that scene out for us Americans?

I don't understand, blowing shit up, killing people by the hundrends or thousands or million with every imaginable weapon, pillaging and forcing beliefs on people and countries, all that are ok. Showing a little tit and all hell breaks loose. I guess most people in power or who influence power have no sex life or their sex life is very bad and/or with the wrong sex and since they are not having any fun, no one else should, even virtual.
