It's a quarter of a century old, it's very popular with developers and publishers and it has one of the dodgiest titles for an event: The Golden Joystick Awards. the ceremony has industry bods getting together for a big round of back slapping and partying... oh and a few awards too. We tagged along to last Friday's ball at the Hilton in London, to get all of the juicy stories, drink all of the free booze and try to get the winners to say something original. That we managed only one of those goals was a bit disappointing but read on anyway!
