Lair Review (PS3) @ IGN

Review: IGN
_______________
It was somewhere in the neighborhood of my fourth pass over a bridge filled with two warring factions and a bunch of evil rhinos that I went from thinking Lair wasn't that bad to wondering if Lucifer himself pressed this Blu-ray disc in the pits of hell.

See, the time had come for my Asylains to draw up a peace treaty with a group of neighboring bad guys called the Mokai, but when the peace process soured, a huge battle erupted and I -- Rohn, one of the best dragon-riding sky guards around -- needed to make sure our troops came out on top.

Warhawk is more than enough. Bargin for £20 an excellent online experiance to rival xbox live's offering and exceeds superstardust in terms of fun. It's well balanced as in it's possible to shoot the planes down unlike BF2, where if you see a plane you'll be waiting 12 seconds to play again.

i don't think its more than enough, not considering the time the PS3 has been out, im glad you are happy with your console but if I wasn't using it for bluray I would be extremely pissed off.

Warhawk is good fun but I get bored of those games really quick, the Ps3 is still in dire need of a "bioshock" class game. but each to their own.

I understand your concerns at the moment there is little variety but this arguement will eventually dwindle with time. I remember the ps2 launched and apart from timesplitters I was underwhelmed with it. It's going to take time i've learned that with experiance it will get there.
At least the gaming conventions are focusing on the games and not the multimedia aspects so at least sony is trying to address concerns. No doubt the ps3 will shine with time like the xbox is starting to and 7 years down the line I bet/hope this will be forgotten.
