Most of us have the sense to realize Bill in Accounting doesn't care about our latest SSX score. But when we were kids, we took our Nintendo experiences with us, citied scores, etc, and utterly confused our teachers and elders.
"When I was about ten we had to do a 'Write a Book' competition in school," recalls Craig O'Connor from Ireland. "Mine was entitled 'Snatchers from Space' and was based entirely on the [Sega CD] game Snatcher. Not too embarrassing until you realise that I cut out images from the booklet and glued them onto the bottom of every page." Though he was proud of his project at the time, O'Connor admits it's embarrassing to think about in the present. "If only 22 year old me could go back and punch 10 year old me in the face."
