European Blizzard fans attending the GC Developers Conference this week in Leipzig, Germany, will be the some of the first on their continent to play early versions of the company's upcoming games.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, a second expansion pack for the massively-multiplayer online role-playing game, and Starcraft II, a long-awaited sequel to the real-time strategy game, will be on display for trade groups on Wednesday and for the public from Thursday through Sunday.
The showing will be Starcraft II's first public appearance in Europe, and attendees to the conference will see the recently revealed new units of the Terran race and play as either the Terrans or the Protoss in single-player skirmishes and in multiplayer battles on six different maps.
