And no Battlezone? It is still the only Real Time Strategy/First Person Shooter made.
It's a shame that someone doesn't come up with another game like that. My original CD shattered somehow, and I wasn't able to play it for a couple of years. I finally found a site where I could D/L it (legally since it's 'abandon ware' now) and it's still as much fun as it always was. Graphics are a bit dated now, but still not too bad, and better, IMO, than the original HalfLife.

That list is pretty pathetic.

OldBuzzard, Battlezone is not the only nor first reat time strategy and first person shooter game. (nor the best IMO)
Carrier Command might be the first (excellent game), and Hostile Waters:Antaeus Rising are two good ones. The first is old but the other is just a few years old. Newer than BZ.
Perhaps even Sacrifice if you don't mind the fantasy setting.
EDIT: I forgot, Parkan I and II are also like it. Only in space and on alien planets.

IMO i agree with that choice.Doom was a cult classic if it may be said. And this for m started of the first person shooter series that i have become addicted to and at least deserved a spot on the list.
Some may even say the the original wolfenstein may of been the same but i never had the opportunity to play that game.

I like that list. Perhaps because for once it's a list of games that I played. But I'd rank Warcraft/Starcraft above C&C and only include C&C because it gave the genre its breakthrough, not because of the game itself.

I agree with the games for the most part. But to put the soccer management game and not Doom makes no sense to me. I'd put that in, and switch the order of a few of them, and its not a bad list.
Oh, and what about Sim City 2000?

Sim City 2000 was great, but hardly ground breaking when we already had Sim City.

No Ultima, Wing Commander, Master of Orion, Ultima Underworld (the first 3D first-person game AFAIK), or even Wolf 3D.... The really shouldn't of limited it to 10 games.
