So how does everyone like this game? I just hope the released game is a little better than this one!
First off the graphics are on the poor side. I was really really looking foward to some great eye candy but after playing it I did not notice it to be all that great... The sound is not bad but I think it could be better but recording sound might be harder than it looks?
Over all I give the demo a 8 out of 10. The gameplay is amazing and very soom! The 60fps showed no slow down and runs like a champ.
Since we were limited to features in the demo the best thing about it is the replay mode it was so cool to see all the settings it was keeping track of. It showed you just about everything you would need to know about your car!
As of now I am not going to base how the game is going to be off this demo because we can't be sure what build this is! I am almost positive it will be better when it's released!

Too bad you are severely limited by the peripherals you can use with this game. It is screaming for a G25, unfortunately you are stuck with a regular game controller or slightly better Xbox 360 Wireless Steering Wheel Review (the wheel doesn't even have "real force feedback" , it has no clutch, and a handicapped 240 degrees of rotation..
All real race sims on the M$ 360 will be crippled by the proprietary controller you are forced to use.. that really sucks.
Quite a shame M$ didn't open up their console to using excellent products like the Logitech G25.

I am happy you bring that up! I was looking at that wheel for months before the demo was released and was even going to build a racing seat and everything for forza 2 but once I found out it was not going to be used I was a big upset but then again it's $300...
The price is a bit high and while it would be amazing that would be like a $500 set up after I build it all lol...

I don't know the series so, is it closer to say TOCA 2 or PGR3? Are all races on eh, circuits or also in cities etc like in PGR3? How do you get to afford other cars, by points accumulated, money or what?
I played 3 races on the demo, can't say I am hooked. To me the graphics look less refined than in PGR3, don't like there is no cockpit view and if all the races are in proper tracks, then it means boredom for me.
The speed was ok, control ok too.

I have never played it, but from what I hear it is more like a hard-core racing/driving simulation.. More like "Live For Speed" than "Gran Turismo".. (meaning that Gran Turismo is more arcade type physics)
BTW, I got my G25 for about 260 bucks.. and I think the prices are coming down still. Actually I gt 2 for that price.. The one I have is kinda loud and vibrates too much turning left so they are sending me another one.. I will get it on the 16th. They do not want the other one back- even though technically it still works fine.
