Halo 2 for Windows Vista Review @ GameZone
Source: GameZone
_____________
What can I say about Halo and Halo 2 that hasn't been said before? Well, I'll say it anyway, knocking the gaming community on it's ear, the Halo series is a perfect example of solid game making. A sci-fi plot that introduces characters and situations in an almost movie-style way. Villains that are as vile and despicable that nothing other than their entire disintegration will suffice. A hero who, while remaining faceless, is more well developed than most characters in the medium. A long, flowing, gaming experience filled with cliff hangers, fantastic imagery, powerful weapons, exciting scenarios and well, everything that you would want in an action-adventure game.

Graphics 9.4? I'm sorry, but from what screenshots I've seen of the game, the graphics were average at best. In fact, the whole review seems dodgy to me... just my opinion though, I can't get enthused about a game that has been out for ages already.

well if he is using the same review sample (unfinished) build that I have, there is no way he can give it a full review. He even says "Additionally, (and very limited reviewing was done on the subject due to my only getting a review build of the game)"
How on earth can you give a game a full scoring system if its a review build?

Useless review. He goes on about the high end rig you'll need but doesn't even mention what kind of system he used or how the framerate is. Having not played Halo 2 yet I'm looking forward to this and hope my system can handle it.
As for the comment "Still tight and awesome as ever" justifying a 9.3 gameplay score...I read the Xbox reviews for Halo 2 and people were saying it was more of the same so he's a fanboy.
