Here are 2 reasons to even download the browser: Wii Flash Games, and Streaming Music.

Wii Java Game sites for you guys to try out with the built in browser (playable on PC too, but way more fun playing it with the Wiimote):

Albino Blacksheeps Wii Games

WiiPlayable

WiiCade

Streaming music:

WiiHear

Firetune

There's tons more too.

Yeah the one thing to remember with the wii browser though if your looking to play music it can not read standard streams. It can only play streaming mp3's!
