Nintendo Again Breaks Sales Records

_______________ Officials from Nintendo have announced that the company has raised its fiscal year sales and profit forecasts for a fourth time, following continued strong demand for the Nintendo DS and Wii consoles. Sales for the year ended March 31st were put at ¥966 billion ($8.1bn), up from the previous forecast of ¥900 billion ($7.5bn). The estimate also beat a consensus figure of ¥929 billion ($7.8bn), polled from seventeen separate analysts by Reuters. |
