GH Review: Command and Conquer 3 (Kane Edition - PC)
Read The Review Here
Kane is back!
3 words that changed everything. If Tiberium Wars was regarded as a potentially good game prior to the announcement, it became one of the most anticipated RTS games of 2007 after it. Online forums were filled with posts about C&C once again; tiberium was a commonly used word, just like it was almost a decade ago. Fears about the quality of the game were next to forgotten – I mean, if you have Kane in the game it simply can’t be anything less than superb, right?

Gotta pay extra to get more Skirmish maps? I guess that is kind of a bummer. But still, the game is pretty darn cool.
Not sure if the review mentioned the 5 multiplayer skirmish maps available ONLY to the KANE version of the game. I'll re-read the thing to make sure...
EDIT: Nope - don't think he mentions that. He may want to update the review if indeed the KANE version does include those exclusive 5 extra maps.

Those unit guys are so tiny - I guess I kinda think different skins for that is kinda silly.
Extra maps, on the other hand - those are awesome. We need more Skirmish Maps for C & C 3. They should have put in at least 40 of them, imo. More large maps with 4-8 players in particular.
I hope the community comes out with a bunch of high-quality user-created maps.

Trainer? They have a Trainer out?
Would you be so kind as to provide a link so I can snag it and share the info?
I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

Cool beans. Thanks.
If someone makes those extra 5 maps available online, is it legal to download and use them? I think they can open them in a map editor and re-save them for use with normal C&C.
Just wonderin'.

I wouldnt be too sure of the legalities of it. As EA aren't charging extra for it its a bit of a grey area. Obviously if someone on here wants to share the maps with someone who doesn't have them, I really don't see a problem. Obviously DH can't support it, but the forum isn't that tightly moderated, we like to give you guys some freedom.

I'd like to mention that imbalance issue i've found in C&C. NOD's campaign is a LOT more harder than GDI's campaign was. And it also is gay to play as NOD while skirmishing or playing online. NOD is just too much weaker and they need a lot more micromanagement. All so different units and shit like that. With GDI it's easy: 30 mammoths, you win
Just my 2 cents.

With GDI, I like to use air forces - they respond very quickly and arrive at your destination very fast. Plus, they go back and get repaired automatically.
So the air forces plus the mammoths and you got it all goin' on!
