Battlefield 2142 - v1.20 Patch Available

PATCH 1.20 :

Added correct flag for Czech Republic.
Fixed PDS-1 sonar system interference with UAV. Soldiers are now shown correctly on UAV when PDS-1 is activated.
Heal and repair points awarded after a 50% heal/repair instead of 100% heal/repair.
Fixed tracking of hours with the medic hub in BFHQ. They should now be shown correctly.
Fixed Squad leader drone exploit. Removed the possibility to use drones as a stairway to heaven.
Fixed Rorsch crosshair misalignment. The crosshair should now be correct while unzoomed.
Out of bounds now immediately kills after 15 seconds instead of doing gradual damage over 15 seconds. This prevents exploits using the out of bounds area.
APM:s always set to “ Friendly fire off” on ranked servers. Increases consistency and prevents misunderstanding.
Fixed an exploit using the reactor core door.
The correct message is now shown when trying to join a full server.
Fixed crash when placing Squad Leader Spawn Beacon.
Added server side option to prevent Titan Movement.
Added optimization to Titan mode to reduce lag.

Yes and to add insult to injury the new nothern strike unlocks will give an advantage to those that own it in normal 2142.

Man, Ea really knows how to rub it in.

While I do poke at the game it still is good, just not 50$ of good. I'm pretty sure their marketing strategies have no consumer interest at all (except taking their money).

I can't wait till they start charging for screenshots of a game.

Why do people even bother paying for 2142? There are plenty of superb quality mods available for BF2. Like Project Reality ( especially ass-kicking thing ), Point of Existence ( kicks the same amount of ass, just not as real ) and there are a lot more to come. Just...Argh!

It's probably because of the worldwide stats and of course the sense of achievement one gets when advancing to the next rank and earning that unlock. Basically operant conditioning at its finest.

i lay it as i think the titan mode is quite fun, I am not really bothered about ranks, but as a game to jump in and play i like it

.

Also i think the setting is quite fun

However, once some mods come out for HL2 that I am waiting for I dont think I will play anymore (for example insurgency mod)
