Confirmed: Nintendo Announces New Wii Colors

In a rather shocking revelation this weekend, an anonymous Nintendo rep revealed to GameDrift that a plan is running through the pipeline to colorize the, as of now, rather bland coloration of its hit console, Wii. The rep did not reveal detailed specifics, however did remark that a red and black console have been confirmed.

yea, thats not too shocking. I think Nintendo should even out the supply and demand first.

This may be a good way to do so though because now people will wait.

I think nintendo will wait until they relaunch the wii with DVD support and just colorize that one....no sense in colorizing this one, and then launching an upgraded model in a few monthes

Im pretty sure they said there were going to be colors a long time ago before release, and said its only white until they satisfie the initial shortages they planned on all along.

To save money, just use a magic marker in the color you prefer and you are good to go.

Apple and Nintendo should work together to release an iPhone that plays DS games and a Wii that accepts input from an iPod and also match colors between the iPod and the Wii.
