Sega's Virtua Fighter series has remained one of the staples of the 3D fighting genre since it hit arcades in 1993. In the years that have passed, the crudely mo-capped polygons of the original game have evolved into refined, near-photo-realistic fighters that have set the bar for visuals in arcades and home consoles.
