PS3 Already Ahead of Xbox 360 in Japanese Sales
Source: DailyTech
_________
In other news, the sky is blue.
It's doubtful that many people thought that the Xbox 360 would have a chance against the PlayStation 3 and Wii in Japan, but the following stats should be quite troubling to the boys in Redmond. According to MCV, PS3 sales in Japan have already surpassed those of the Xbox 360 which has been on sale for a year.

Even though the PS3 is outselling the 360 in Japan, it's also out doing it in the returns department too with a 60% defect rate.
So the questions are: Do those totals include the defective systems? Also, which should Sony be more proud of: Outselling Microsoft, or having the system with the highest exchange rate due to defects?
