Crysis Interview and DX10 Video

Read More/Source: IGN
_______________
It's not hard to get excited about Crysis. Its visuals are among the most eye pleasing we've seen, and support for Direct X10 means they can only get better. At least, so we think. But how will DX10 support in Crysis allow for enhanced visuals, and what kinds of specific enhancements? We had to opportunity to get some answers from Crytek's CEO and President Cevat Yerli for the latest. To check out how Crysis looks, be sure to check out this DX10 HD video.

Yeah the PC gaming industry needs this. everything is so stale right now. DX10 hopefully will shake things up.

Something is not right IMO. Not sure if it is the colours or the gamma or the lighting, just something doesn't feel right to me.
Other than that, it looks good, I just hope they will remember to include a game with it.

To be honest I wasn't as impressed by this video as I was with the others that I've seen. Infact, the narrated one (I think it was the second video) was just jaw dropping (the jungle felt alive). That's not to say this one isn't cool, but the others showed off the game engine in a much more impressive way.
