Weren't most of their problems attributed to heating?

lol, it was pretty funny at work today. We were using the display 360 to keep our hands warm cause it was a bit chilly.

I can't figure this out. Since day one everybody talking about very loud noise and too much heat coming out of the xbox 360, but I bought mine a few months ago and 1)never is any warmer to the touch than, say my TFT monitor, just slight warm to the touch, 2)It is the most quiet (apart from my 15" tv) electronic equipment I have owned since the mid 90s. My PSP makes more noise when loading a game than the 360 does at any one time.

Or do I have some secret 360 batch with watercooling or something?

As for the PS3, it comes as to no suprise to me, they were in a great hurry to release it now and the system is just not ready yet.

One thing to remember, guys, is that these first batches are coming from Asus. It'll be interesting to see what the batches starting in February/March '07 will be like given the fact that they will be produced by Foxconn.

Dont remember that, I just remember issues with the dvd drive. Never had a problem with consoles, I would purchase the store warrenty (2 or 3 years), get the system to a week before it would expire, hit it with a hammer, and get a brand new one.

Maybe a few isolated cases... All I know is that the slim PS2 had more trouble with games and backwards comp, that's it...
