SEATTLE (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. said on Wednesday it had sold 1 million copies of its game "Gears of War" in two weeks, making it the fastest-selling title for its Xbox 360 video game console.

Microsoft has been counting on "Gears of War", which went on sale on November 7, to steal some thunder from the recent launches of rival gaming machines from Sony Corp. and Nintendo Co. Ltd.

This certainly looks like on excellent game.... just a pitty it's not coming to the pc...!.

I can't afford a 360 either.

Damn, when i saw this game running on a @ 720p 32" lcd tv, i was beyond impressed, i was amazed at how wonderfully well it run with such a high quality, although imo, there are a few places that i could see a lower resolution textures being used in places. But most of the main focused stuff is right up there.

The Unreal 3 Engine looks utterly promissing beyond what we could perseeve.

I'm awaiting UT2007 though.... dammit, march possible demo launch.... way to far off

Well I guess you could spend $400 for just one game lol But remember there are a lot more cool games coming out.

1. Forza 2
2. Halo 3
3. Bio Shock
4. Halo Wars
and thats all I can think of at the moment!!! The Xbox is REALLY going to be brilliant in 07!!!
